Recurring fee

A recurring fee is the amount a client pays at regular intervals, every month, quarter or year, for an ongoing service: hosting, maintenance, social media management, licences, support. For a services company, recurring fees are the predictable part of revenue. The risk is forgetting one: a renewal not invoiced, a price increase not applied, an expiry discovered too late.

In YVY

In YVY recurring fees are Catalog products and are sold in the same quote as projects. On order the fee starts, and in Subscriptions you see the total of your fees, due dates, renewals, plan changes and add-ons. On renewal the draft invoice is created, with nothing to copy over. Fees about to expire show up before they expire, not after.
