Process verticalization

YVY on your industry's processes: services today, trade and manufacturing coming

Short answer

Verticalizing means putting YVY on your industry's processes without rewriting it: each service you sell with its own project template, your price lists, your roles, your rules on when work starts. Today YVY is ready for services and project companies. Verticalizations for trading companies and for manufacturers are on the way.

Generic business software asks you to change how you work to fit its boxes. We do the opposite: we take how you work, draw it inside YVY and test it on your data before your team moves in.

Which companies is YVY built for?

YVY is built for companies that sell services and projects. It was born inside Aldeia, an Italian agency that built it for its own use. The thread is always the same: a company sells something, produces or delivers it, invoices it and gets paid. What changes is the middle.

IndustryThe middle, in YVYStatus
Services and projects: communication, marketing and web agencies, consultancies, firms working on commissionThe order opens a project on the canvas, with nodes, hours, assignees and marginsReady today
Trade: companies selling productsShipping management in place of the project. Stock inside the catalogVerticalization on the way
Manufacturing: companies that make thingsThe project becomes a production process, connectable to the factory's machinesVerticalization on the way

We build and show the upcoming verticalizations on a demo company with every feature switched on. If you trade or manufacture, talk to us now: your processes can become the case we design them on.

What do we configure in YVY today?

This is what we set up for a services and project company, with features YVY already has.

Also on the way: custom fields, meaning you can add your own fields to any record from Settings.

What does not change, even when you verticalize?

  • Navigation. Menu, top bar and records stay identical in every section and every company. Learn one section and you can use them all.
  • Permissions and the action log. They apply to people and to AI in the same way.
  • The product. We do not fork the software for you: you run the same version as everyone, and it keeps updating. Verticalization is configuration, not a separate branch to maintain.

How does a verticalization run?

  1. We map your processes

We follow a real job from first contact to payment: who touches it, where it stalls, what gets lost on the way.

  2. We draw them in YVY

Project templates, catalog, price lists, roles, start rules.

  3. We test them on your data

With your history already imported, we replay two or three real jobs and see if the design holds.

  4. We adjust with your team

The people who will use YVY every day tell us what does not fit, before go-live.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

It depends on how many services you sell, how many roles you have and how many special rules you need. We set it after the analysis, in writing.

  • Price: on a quote, after the analysis.
  • Typical duration: to be defined.

Frequently asked questions

What is ERP verticalization?

It is fitting business software to the processes of an industry or a company: work templates, price lists, roles and rules. In YVY it is done by configuring features that exist, not by writing custom code.

Is YVY right for a communication agency?

Yes, it is the case it was born for. Quotes with versions, projects that start from the order, recurring fees, hours and margins per job, Italian e-invoicing.

I sell products, not services. Is YVY for me?

Not fully yet. The trade verticalization, with shipping in place of projects and stock in the catalog, is on the way. If you tell us your processes now, we use them to design it.

We manufacture. Can the machines be connected?

That is the direction of the manufacturing verticalization, on the way: projects become production processes connectable to machines. Today it is not a ready feature.

Can I add my own fields to records?

Not yet: custom fields are on the way. Today we fit YVY with project templates, catalog, price lists, roles and rules.

Do customizations survive updates?

Yes. They are settings of your workspace, not code changes: YVY updates leave them in place.
