AI agent
An AI agent is software built on an artificial intelligence model that carries out a multi-step task on its own: it reads the context, decides what to do, uses tools and checks the result. Unlike a chat, it does not wait for a question at every step. To work in a company it needs a place to receive work, permissions, and someone who answers for what it does.
In YVY
In YVY an agent is a user that is not a person. You create it in Settings › Users › New agent; it has its own identity and a human Owner, and you assign it to nodes, tasks and tickets like a colleague. It receives the work with the specs and hands it back by mentioning whoever continues. It reads and creates, edits only what the administrator enables, never performs sensitive actions and has a limit on writes per minute.
